Andy is a professor of New Testament at Nazarene Theological Seminary and all around good guy.





Which of the three views do you most resonate with, Daniel?
Mine is “justification by participation in the cosmic transformation wrought by the death and resurrection of Jesus.”
So like all three, participation is crucial, as is eschatology. I would probably want to see transformation as concomitant with justification, though they might be logically distinct.
Like NTW, I tend to still see a covenantal-forensic dynamic in play (acquittal or some such) with justification.
