I’m glad someone finally shared the song!
Should we rewrite and perform a version that sums up the recent blog theme? To get it to fit, the chorus will probably have to say “…if you can’t be with the Book you love, love the book you’re with”
Genius!
It could go on the same album with:
“As the Dog (returns to its vomit)” (rev. of “As the Deer”)
“It’s all about Jews, it’s all about Jews for Jesus” (rev. of “Heart of Worship”)
“Our Campaign” (capital campaign theme song, rev. of “Our God Reigns”)
etc.
Now I’m thinking maybe some spoof music would actually be fun. How’s your singing voice?
