Rich Mouw Set To Retire from Fuller

In case you hadn’t heard: Rich Mouw is set to retire next year.

Next year will be his twentieth as president of Fuller, and he will leave a deep mark on the institution. What Fuller is at its best, Mouw is in spades: holding firmly and passionately to convictions, with a charitable spirit and openness to the breadth of what makes all of us Evangelical.

I’m going to miss Rich tremendously.

Very well said, Daniel. Rich is one of my greatest heroes, largely for how he combines the ability to speak clearly and boldly with his deep desire to speak charitably and ecumenically. I just finished Talking with Mormons; it’s a model of that kind of conversation.

We are fortunate that he will continue to serve as a professor after his year long sabbatical. His Worldviews class has been one of my favorite since I’ve been here (i.e., Pasadena).
