Sermon Prep, Commentary, Banter

The latest LectioCast dropped a couple days ago.

This week we talk about what’s wrong (and right) about Israel wanting a king, and the peculiar ability we all have to step outside of our worship services and demand exactly the thing that we were just steeling ourselves against.

There’s also a bit in there about glory coming through suffering and I solve once and for all the intractable problem of what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit! (Ok, not really, but I do give some pastoral advice that I picked up along the way.)

If your church uses the Revised Common Lectionary, or if you just want to hear some fun banter and commentary around a handful of biblical passages, give it a listen.
